Finding Your Way Back to Self

We often spend our lives performing for others or carrying the weight of past versions of ourselves. Therapy is a process of discerning what to keep and what to set down. It’s not just about looking backward; it’s about unburdening the person you have been so you can finally become the person you want to be.

We all carry different internal parts: the ones that protect us, the ones that hold our past wounds, and the ones that strive to keep us moving forward. When these parts are at odds, it’s hard to feel like you’re making progress.

True healing happens when we meet these internal voices with curiosity rather than judgment. As we unburden the parts that no longer serve you, we create the internal space needed to lead from your Self - a calm, courageous, and creative core. From this grounded place, you can finally begin to build a life that feels authentic, sustainable, and truly yours.

The Heart Behind the Practice

Comfortable, safe waiting room environment for a trauma-informed psychotherapy practice in Ontario

From an early age, I recognized that life is not a straight path. Having immigrated twice and lived across three different cultures, I personally navigated the challenges of relocation, belonging, language barriers, and loss, among others. These experiences taught me the deep impact of cultural influences on our identity, the necessity of adaptation, and the profound importance of seeking help and advocating for oneself.

More recently, my own journey with neurodivergence and chronic illness has deepened my perspective on what it means to heal. I intimately understand the complex emotions and unique challenges that come with navigating this shift.

Living with such visible and “invisible”challenges in a fast-paced world has taught me that healing isn't about a one-time fix; it is the ongoing, courageous work of being human. I show up as an ally who understands the exhaustion of a world not built for our unique nervous systems.

My promise is to provide the deep empathy and respect you deserve while bringing the most current research and clinical insights to our work together. I am committed to navigating this journey with you, blending genuine human connection with the evidence-based tools needed to help you find your way back to self. Because you are your home.

I take a person-centred, culturally inclusive, and trauma-informed approach. While I tailor every session to the unique needs of the individual, I draw on a diverse toolkit of evidence-based modalities, including CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, IFS (Parts Work), EFT, Gottman Method, and Somatic techniques, to help you find your way back to clarity.
