Our Giving Mission
At Back to Self, we believe that healing is a collective journey. A portion of the proceeds from every purchase will be donated to Ontario-based mental health organizations to help provide resources and support for those navigating their own path to wholeness.
Ethical Boundaries & Clinical Disclosure
As a practice rooted in integrity, it is important to maintain clear boundaries between clinical services and wellness products:
Not a Substitute for Therapy: The items in this shop (apparel, journals, sensory tools etc.) are designed as gentle anchors for self-reflection. They are wellness tools only and do not constitute psychotherapy, medical advice, or a clinical therapeutic relationship.
No Obligation for Clients: Current or former clients are under no obligation or expectation to purchase items from this shop. Your therapeutic care is never contingent upon shop participation.
Dual Relationship Prevention: To maintain a clear clinical boundary, shop transactions are handled entirely separately from clinical services.
Emergency Support: These products are not intended for crisis management. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact the 9-8-8 Suicide Crisis Helpline or visit your nearest emergency department.
Shop Return & Exchange Policy
Because every item in our shop is custom-printed just for you at the moment of purchase, we do not accept returns or exchanges for buyer's remorse or incorrect size selection. We kindly ask that you review your order details and sizing charts carefully before placing your order.
Damaged or Incorrect Items: If your item arrives damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong item entirely, we want to make it right. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the item and your order number. We will gladly arrange a replacement or a full refund at no extra cost to you.
